Athletics Day Years 1-8
Weather is looking good for Athletics Day on Friday. However, Christian Couper will let us know the day before if the event needs to be postponed until Monday. Thank you to those parents who have completed the consent form. At this point we have enough space on both school vans to transport students to and from the event so we don’t require any additional parent helpers. The vans will depart promptly at 8:15am from the bus bay at Akaroa Area School as the event starts at 9am, and teachers are required to set up and run an event for the day. Just a reminder that the junior events (years 1-2) finish at midday and the senior events (years 3-8) finish at 2:30. Don’t forget hats, lunch, sun block, drink bottle, P.E. uniform, running shoes and money for the bake sale. We look forward to a fabulous day!!
